"Friends and Neighbours" like that are neither Friends or Neighbours. On the rare occassion that I borrow a neighbours equipment, it is returned many times in better shape than when I got it. One time I borrowed a neighbour's loader tractor and since he was a dairy man, he was never too proud about the appearance of his equipment. Hence,it was covered from grill to draw-bar in many years of manure. Before returning it,I spent an afternoon cleaning the tractor. When I returned it, I told him that if he let it get that dirty again,I would refuse to borrow it again.Took him awhile to figure that one out!
