Thanks, what a bunch of detectives. It is a David Brown. I have never heard of a David Brown. I said earlier, I thought DB was the name a grading company that owned the tractor. I appreciate your help a lot. Now I can make a further ID when I get back over there. Thanks again. I think that a "for free" deal is hard to beat. It has hardly any rust, and the only real cosmetic blemish is the seat is getting to be in rough shape. It also needs tires, one is really dry rotted in the rear. I think that if I get it up and running, it will last me the rest of my life. Best - Ted
