I am not familiar with the PTO clutch on the 77. On my Oliver 1650, the PTO clutch needs adjusting when this happens. The owners manual for the 1650 tells how to adjust the clutch; check the owners manual for the 77 to see if it tells how to adjust the PTO clutch.
