the newer caseIH combines are a good deal ahead of your older 1440 the newer series like a 1688 2188 or a 2388 all are interchangable on the internals with just different cosmetics and updated electronics and cabs for the most part. I guess the question is can you get support for a NH combine and is the price right? on the plus for the caseIH is your cornhead will work and your familiar with how the IH rotor needs to be set and operated
