I know this message board is for tractors only, but could any of you please help me on this baler I own? I bought a New Holland 271 Hayliner baler last year, and I went to try it out this year, but the pickup didn't work! The pickup didn't even move! I also noticed the pickup clutch did not spin at all. And the baler did not trip when it was supposed to, so the knotters did not tie the twine. Everything else worked. Can someone tell me what the problem is? Is the pickup clutch froze? I want to see if I can get this baler working by second crop of hay. Please help me. I would really appreciate it.
