If the flare nut was overtightened, wouldn't the leak be around the outside of the nut? Excuse my ignorance, but I'm new to deisel engines. I don't know what the olive is. I assume it is the bit of rubber inside the fitting. If I have to replace that, how do I get the line out (I've pulled on it and it doesn't come out), how do I get the rubber bit out and put it all back together? Kevin Thurston
