HI Steve, You're right, working with a walkbehind is sure torture, but it's better, than working with a spade. And the most private gardens in Germany are not s big, to work with a tractor in it. Other reason is, that ground is very expensive. In our village m2 is 120-150bucks, other areas are more expensive. If it is cheaper You have a longer way to any central Town or there is no place for working. Tractor dealers we have some around at appr. 10 miles. CIH, Fendt, Renault, Deutz, Ford, JD, Valmet, Steyr, also Kubota and Iseki, cause we have not the distances like You in te states. !00 miles in Germany is like travelling around the world :).
