i'm with robert go a little newer something with powersteering, live pto, remote hydraulics.if you look around you can find more tractor for the same money because the 8n has that collector /nostalgis(nostalgis thinking about how good the old days were because you forgotten how much they realy sucked) value that a mid 70's to 80's ford or massey lacks.also the newer tractors are generally safer and more operator friendly. the fwa (4wd) is nice with a loader if the budget will allow. while the N series were ok in their day and filled an imporntant nich at the time my personal opinion is there 2 kinds of people who talk about how great the N series fords were the ones whos memories are a little clouded by time and the ones who have never operated anything better.
