You will find that they have a LOT more torque and HP than they can effectively put to the ground. Except perhaps on the belt, I doubt you will EVER stall one, it is MUCH more likely that it will spin, or (ouch) rear up. My dad used to routinely use pallet forks on the eagle hitch as "wheelie bars" and steer ith the brakes when he pulled stuff with one, stuff that tractors twice the size of a VA would have trouble with (like a cold traction engine with a full boiler up a 3-4% grade). But, he doesn't do that nearly as often since he bought the 830
