One of my uncles has a Ford 2810(32 hp) and a Ford 3600(40 hp). He really likes them. The 3600 seems to be built pretty heavy, and I'd say it would be a good choice for loader and backhoe work. A 3600 is probably overkill for just a few acres, but I'd rather have too much tractor(within reason) than too little.
