I have a 5' finishing mower that I bought 2001. I've gone thru 4 belts over the last two summers (two in the last month!!!!) I mow about 3 acres. No real heavy stuff. Just a thick lawn. The cover is useless. It doesn't prevent any grass build-up on the spindles/pulleys. They need to be cleaned often, and although I do, apparently I'm not cleaning them often enough. I'm not a happy camper.
