Mike, You should probably guesstimate 2.5 to 3 degrees F higher boiling point per pound of cooling system pressure increase over normal atmospheric pressure of 1 bar, 30" of mercury, or 14.7 psi at mean sea level / 212 degrees F. The fudge factor range of 2.5 to 3 is to cover you for higher altitudes and changing barometric conditions, e.g. if you're in Denver, use 2.5. Like everyone has said, the mixture of anti freeze to water makes a difference. But don't think a greater than 60 / 40 ratio is a free lunch. Higher proportions of anti freeze in the mix will do nasty things to a combustion chamber if it seeps in. Water just burns off as steam. Steve
