I don't have an unstyled B but the styled ones I have take about 8 quarts with a filter change. Best way to do it for me is to add the oil until the oil comes out the little bolt for checking oil level (by the flywheel if memory serves me right) then run the tractor and check it after she has cooled down a little and add more if you need it (from filter change)
