thanks for the advice. i'll check both out. i think the problem goes beyond the safety switches. i failed to mention that there are no lights and the trouble shoot test panel shows nothing when the key is turned to on. i have ordered a diode from the dealer but won't know if that is the problem for a few days. i own both a 1975 and a 1992 wheel horse. i'll take the 1975 anyday.
