Seems like the relief setting for H or M is around 1200 psi, using formula r^2*pi where r = radius (1/2 the diameter) of the cylinder and pi = 3.14159 a 2 inch cylinder pushes 3769 pounds or a 3 inch cyliinder pushs 5654 pounds. Remember that generally a loader bucket moves 2 to 4 inchs for each inch the cylinder moves you have to apply that ratio to the cylinder force (divide). It's kind of basic geometry to figure out from here. Remeber that you have two cylinders (unless its one of those Ford one armed bandit loaders) and there has to be enough weight to keep the back of the tractor stable. Also the pump may not be producing 100% of spec. You probably didn't want a disertation, but you get the general idea.
