Thanks so much, everyone, for responding - especially regarding the safety issues. I think we will pass on the 8N and add a couple of pieces of equipment (such as a spring-tine cultivator) and a few other odds and ends. Eventually, we will have to have a new bushhog. I'm having a time finding a (cheap) rock guard for this one; it is 5' square and so rusted that the name has faded out long ago. Even the little metal (serial number) plate is faded out. I think it may be a Hardee, but not certain.
