I had 2 friends that (1 of them was a Taxidermist ) went deer hunting in Michigan in late December. The taxidermist spotted a big paper wasp nest in a tree. He figured it would look good in a diarama he was working on at home.

So when it was time to come back to Canada they loaded up their gear into the van and headed home. About 3 hours into the drive things got quite interesting. It never dawned on either of them that the wasps may wake up once they got warmed up.

It is a fun story when you get the 2 of them telling it. Opening the van doors and letting the wasps cool down and tossing the nest did the trick
