I've done several, with the cylinder head in place, Be sure to ask for the Heli-coil for spark plugs, the ones i've used even came with a special cutter/threader that worked slick as all get out, and being in a shop, had access to a borescope to check the piston top when done, to be sure all the debris was gone, if you can't be sure, fire it up minus the spark plug in the repaired hole, be a good chance any extra filings get blown out.
