Please consider what I have to say here. Your goal, since you are not wanting to move to this property yourself, is to get the most money out of the property. If not, you would be making a rather large gift to a stranger who may not even appreciate it. And yes, I am a real estate broker. There may not be enough buyers in that area who would want the property the way it is now, to get a decent sales price in a reasonable time. Remember that it costs quite a bit of money to keep a property going even if it is empty. Here's how to find out if you should ditch the "loser" agent. Interview at least two agents with a proven track record in selling properties like you have in the area where yours is. Be specific and be blunt. Ask for references. Call a few references. If the other two agents tell you the same thing, you need to listen to them.
