if you want a quiet old tractor an old oliver is hard to beat. some thing like a 66 or 77 with a decent muffler is almost as quiet under load as at an idle.we used to mow hay with an Oliver 77 and a JD A after getting off the A I couldn't hear the oliver idle from 10 feet away.
