There are many more than would like to admit they have made one or the other of those mistakes. I took a 20 foot ride once with out consequence, after that I avoided slopes and made sure the wheel chocks were in place. I normally engage the 4-wheel drive and set the parking brake as an added measure of safety. Sorry to hear about the damage to the truck, but glad no one was hurt!
