As long as I'm not going I thought I'd give my fellow auction goers in upstate NY a chance..Auction is tomorrow at 9 AM. I saw lots of goodies when I went up there today to drop off my old steam cleaner to sell. Tractors included a Case with loader, around 1960 or so , a MF -50 the farmer who dropped it off said he wanted to get about $2800 for, and a VA with a wide front, I think. Farmall H , looked complete. There should be a Fergie or two, I think someone was towing one in as I left. Plenty of farm trucks, from a 4WD 88 Nisan to a late model 1 Ton Ford single wheel. JD Dozer, looked nice, but didn't get the model, with power tilt blade, and a mystery model older John Deere Skidsteer with hand controls. (Looked like one my old boss traded in when the axles broke, but this one had axles that worked..) Implements included 1, 2 , and 3 bottom plows, rakes, tedders, balers, wagons, etc, etc..ANd tons of junk.Even a lathe and a drill press. Have fun if y'all go, and if ya happen to notice what the tractors went for , post here so I can find out. No relation to the auctioneer, just thought you guys would appreciate a heads up before the event instead of after like I always seem to have. (oops, it is at the auction yard for town and country auctions , 3 miles North of Schuyleville on route 32.)

Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live
