MF35 front axle

I have a 1957 MF35 with a front loader and have come up with a problem. The shaft that goes thru the axle to the aux. hydraulic pump for the loader keeps breaking and I am told that the bushing that it goes through in the axle is shot and needs replaced. Question is can the axle be taken off with the loader on the tractor or does it have to come off. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Doc
