I used to use the old bumper jack until I picked up a "bead-breaker" at a garage sale for $2.00 about 10 years ago. J.C.Whitney still sells this thing for around $40.00. It is meant for auto and light truck tires, but I've used it several times on my WD & WD-45 (28") wheels. I also picked up a couple of tire "spoons" years ago and I still change a lot of my own tires with this combo and a good rubber mallet. However, if I had a backhoe or a front end loader with a tilt bucket, you can bet I would give them a try.
