I just went through the same thing you are going through when I replaced my Massey Ferguson 165. I was split between the Kubota M4900 and the Massey 243. They were both about the same price. They both had advantages and disadvantages. I ended up buying the Massey 243 partly due to being familiar and comfortable with MF and I like my local dealer. Either way they are both good tractors. You should buy the one you feel more comfortable with. Test drive both of them as well. Both of my local dealers offered to let me test drive them on my property with attatched equipment.
