I had a similar choice last fall when I felt I had to replace my MF 165. I bought a Kubota M5700 4wd which has more HP than my old Massey, but less weight. So far, I like the Kubota. It being lighter has made it more manueverable; ask me again in July after I bale hay if I still like its smaller weight. I dunno about its repair costs, but there are more good Kubota dealers here in SE Wis than there are Massey dealers. I was not happy with my nearest MF dealer and the next one is about 50 miles away.
