Well, after 8 yrs of loyal service the mower deck on my lawnmower gave up this afternoon.Called Sears and some other sources I have,I cant justify spending that much money on a new deck when a whole mower, say a cheapo depot deal, isnt that much more and used is out of the question! The "tractor" part is still in good shape and the engine runs like a top!I have considered a finish mower for my Farmall M but it would be too big for certain parts in my yard, frontyrard is near two acres but back yard is only 1/4 to 1/2 acre with some trees and soem of the wifes junk,I mean flowers!I have also considered one of those pull type mowers with its own engine.I could pull it with the "tractor" section I have now,but if it goes out Im stuck with it unless I pull it with something else, say my ATV.There are a few good looking mowers I have looked at over the last couple of years, knew this may be coming. What would you all recommend........Oh Im not getting another Craftsman, the one my boss bought last year is junk!
