There are all kinds of tractors that would work well for those purposes. I would suggest one that has a dealer nearby that will be there for parts and possibly to fix things you cannot. For most things, live PTO is not really necessary, although it almost is for running a PTO type baler successfully. It is not for bush hogging. I would suggest a tractor with a 3 point hitch. A loader is a big plus, as you will wonder how you ever got along without it once you have one. It all depends on how much you want to spend. There are very good new or late model tractors available. But considering that this is an antique tractor site, I would suggest looking at a Ford 8N to see if one would fit your needs. They made a huge number of the N's, so they are not hard to find, and there are lots of parts available inexpensively, so it is not hard to keep them running or to restore them. And best of all, they retain their value very well, due to utility and popularity. On the down side, they do not have a very sophisticated hydraulic system, but it can be improved. With a loader, a front pump is the best way to go. Read the various boards to learn more about different tractors. There are a lot of good models with different advantages and disadvantages.
