Paul,
You are correct in assuming ATC was before Case. ATC started in 1950 and they merged with Case in January 1957. Your crawler was the 130th GT-30 ever built and was manufactured in 1951. It should have a Continental F140 engine rated at 30HP on the pulley. Biggest problem is the axle/sprocket splines wear rapidly and people do funny things to fix them ie weld the nut to the sprocket, weld the sprocket to the axle etc. For some more information, try the link Edward
