To set your timing you must have the piston at top dead center. You can do this by removing the plugs with a slotted screwdriver on the flywheel cover. turn the crank using a socket and ratchetin the big hole and watch for a T mark in the little hole, once you have the piston in the T.D.C position you must put the cam with the lobes down. Then look on the cam sprocket for a . or two - across from eachother, If its a . put it facing straight up. If its the two - then put them parellel to each other with the engine fins. Then put in the sprocket bolts. Be sure to turn engine by hand first when done. Hope this helps, Jaarno
