Did you ever think that steam isn't really dead? Unless its provided by wind or hydro electric, the electricity to run our computers probably was generated by steam turbines in a coal fired or nuclear power plant. And how about those huge turbines in ocean going ships? I know, its not the same as a reciprocating piston steam engine, but its still one of the most efficent ways of generating/transfering power. Now if the Navy will only clear me to buy one of their surplus submarine powerplants, I think I can shoehorn it into my Massey...............
