Well I guess I caught my share of spit balls. But then I saw a tv program about some African tribe that used darts to kill animals. So I made up a bunch of tiny paper cones with the buisness end of a stick pin taped to the end of them. Would shoot them out of a 1/4" tube that I found somewhere. A couple of well placed shots and my "enemies" soon wanted to call a truce and be my friend.

Recollections of a John Deere GP - by Charlie Cook. I grew up on my dad's 280 acre general farm in Western Michigan. Dad's only tractor when I was very young was the old GP. My first recollection of this tractor was when dad allowed my brother and myself to ride on the tractor with him driving. One of us would sit on the left fender (away from the clutch) and other would sit on the gas tank and hold onto the crankcase breather pipe.
