I don't know about the yelling, but I do find all caps or all lower case harder to read, especially in a long post.
I realize that some folks are not good at typing and find it difficult to keep hitting the shift key from time to time so I think it's best to just overlook it and try to help them out the best you can.
As for my typing skills, THANK GOD FOR THE BACKSPACE KEY.
