Hi, Jeff, it will take a LOT of trips over with even a heavy disc to break the sod up, even a poor job of plowing is better than none at all. if you could even borrow a plow to finish the rest would be better than just discing, of course I know nothing of your conditions, so just commenting on what is where I live, hope this helps, even a little bit, Have a gooder, R.E.L.
