It may seem high, but is $5.00 worth not doing a job right. Check with your local NAPA store. If your bowl leaks you will spend that on 3-1/2 gallons of lost gas. If your tractor catches fire a $20 gasket would have seemed to be a bargain. There are places to cut corners and there are places not to cut corners. This may sound harsh, but we are talking about $5.00 versus a major saftey hazard. If your bowl is eating the gaskets you may need a new bowl assembly.
