i would use it because the fuel nodays does not have the lubracation that the old fuel had.i use atf{ automatic transmission fluid} put about 1 pint in 20 or 25 gallons of fuel. it will smoke alittle more, but it cleans and lubes the pump and injectors. i ran a 855 cummins in a peterbilt for 8 years and when the low sulfer fuel came out, a cummins shop told me to use it because of the lubrication.
