You will see a large plug on the front of steering box, remove it ,undo steering universal joint,turn the worm to unscrew it from 1/2 moon steering pinoin gear, it will come out thru the front, its not as tough a job as it may sound like ,when you get radiator out have radiator man to take his torch and heat cap on radiator drain pipe , and i am assuming that is the drain you are talking about and not the one in the engine block near the carbureator.
