I have two International utility type tractors (684 and 895) that have a parking brake which is activated by a hand lever. The problem that I have experienced is that it is darn easy to drive the tractor without realizing that the parking brake is still applied, especially if it was not set full on. Yes there is an idiot light on the console, but it doesn't work half the time, and when it is working its hard to notice. Of course driving the tractor in this condition for any period of time will ruin the parking brakes in short order, and replacing them is an expensive proposition. What I would like to do is to add a hydraulic brake lock (actually two of them, one for each wheel) to the primary brake system. I have seen these units advertised in JC Whitney for about $30 each. If anybody out there has any experience with this, I certainly would like to hear from you. Thanks.
