thats not a "B" Allis, it is the Industrial B or "IB" version that was sold to the railroads and states with sickle bar mowers to do road side maintnenace. there were only about 5000 total built. I have one, looked worse than yours but ran very good. I paid $2800 last summer. Even if it smokes you can probably get $2200-$2500. They are right, the normal B sells for $700 low and $1500 high
