I don't know if you can but maybe part of the answer may be to go a different route- I know this may not always be possible. Being a firefighter, sometimes, the quickest way to a fire is given way to the safest. Sometimes we will go a different way just for safety. It may be longer and out of the way but may pay off later.

just a thought.

Also, I couldn't even consider buying a new tractor WITHOUT ROPS. The few dollars more for a roll bar is minimal to anything else considering the possible consequenses.
