'Tis possible. HiCas did an extensive tractor stability study, and rearward flips were part of the study. Roughly 45 degrees before becoming inherently rearward unstable.

That said, the biggest danger is being on a steep slope going up, losing traction, and backing down. People do flip tractors then. They try to back it down, it starts to get away from them, they jam on the brakes, and flip it over backwards.
