I can get you started. Allis chalmers bought a diesel engine company after WW II. THE engine company was called BUDA. One engine they made was a 6 cylinder diesel, aftercooled, 844 cubic inch engine. I think that is the designation. I worked for Allis in the 1970 era. We used an 844 six in the 21B buldozer and the 945 wheel loader construction tractors, but i thought the BUDA name was off them by then. One very good engine for its time.
