Your B will comfortably handle a 5' or possibly even a 6' brush-hog or the generic equivalent there of. You'll need a trailer type tow-behind. Dragging a unit around by chains is an invitation for disaster. My high school aged son had great success pulling a 6' trailer type with his '49 JD B last summer, in hayfields and even some awful rough trashy areas.
