I think we use the term antique loosely, and not in its technical sense when talking about tractors. But, I believe the "technically correct" terms when talking about collectible antiquities in general is that if it's less than 25 years old, it's 'late model.' If it's over 25 years old, then it's 'vintage.' If it's over 50 years old, it's a 'classic.' And, when the clock eventually strikes 100, it's an 'antique.'

And finally, if an item reaches any of these milestones but has not been deemed collectible, then it's 'junk.'
