Roger, the tractor was known by three initials which are, respectively, 5th, 20th, and 3rd, chronologically, in the alphabet. Kim, who runs this site, would prefer that this topic be discussed in the Tractor Tales forum of this site. My hats off to Clem and Alberta Mike who have probably tied themselves in knots and chewed their lower lips off while resisting the temptation to discuss the tractor in this forum. They must be courageous, honorable men! I wonder what they gave up for Lent?

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
