My (former) brother-in-law is a plastic surgeon in New Zealand. In the late 70's he was only the third surgeon to successfully sew a person's scalp on (must reconnect the blood vessels, nerves, etc) after she caught her beautiful long locks in a tractor PTO. You wouldn't believe her appearance after having all of her hair, one eyebrow, and an ear torn off. Unfortunately, I don't have the slides from his lecture on that to post. He photographed the entire surgery, before and after. If you saw the slides, you would hurry to buy and mount a pto cover on your tractor.
