FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR REPLIES. I DID'NT GET TOO DETAILED FOR FEAR OF GETTING CARRIED AWAY. I'M KIND OF SUPRISED AT JUST HOW FAST I GOT HOOKED ON THIS OLD TRACTOR! I'VE SEARCHED THROUGH HUNDREDS OF PHOTOS OF TRACTORS ON THE WEB, AND HAVE NOT SEEN A TRACTOR YET THAT I CAN SAY "THAT'S MY GIRL, I'VE FOUND HER!" SHE LOOKS ALOT LIKE SOME PHOTOS I FOUND OF A VA. I BELIEVE SHE WAS BUILT IN 1942 OR LATER BECAUSE THE ENGINE HAS "ABE THE EAGLE" EMBOSSED ON IT. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LEARN CASE USED THE CONTINENTAL PRIOR TO "42" AND IN "42" BEGAN PRODUCING THIER ENGINE FROM THEN ON. THE SIDE PANELS DO NOT HAVE THE RAISED LINE EMBOSSED INTO THEM LIKE THE VA I HAVE SEEN. THE CLUTCH IS A FOOT PEDDLE ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE RIGHT SIDE HAS THE INDEPENDANT BRAKE PEDDLES, AND TOO THE OUTSIDE IS A SMALL THROTTLE PEDDLE. IT ALSO HAS A THROTTLE LEVER ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. SHE HAS A PLACE FOR THE HAND CRANK UP FRONT, BUT ALSO HAS A 6VOLT SYSTEM. I'LL CONTINUE MY PHOTO SEARCH, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE HELP, I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED. RYAN
