Any of the survivors of pto, corn snapper heads, equipment roll overs etc, all say " but this happens to other people or thought it would never happen to me". Ever meet someone wandering in shock or sprawled on the ground while their arm or leg is still flapping around the pto being beat to a bloody pulp against the drawbar or the ground? Something that will stay with you is the sight of scraps, skin & tendons wrapped around the shaft while remains of the body is bloody guts & pulp sprayed about 20 feet each side of the shaft. The looks on the family's faces stays with you too. Any dumb a$$ that runs a pto without a shield and cover should be horse whipped for their own & family's good. Any one that tells you they don't have the time or money for shielding & safety is a dangerous fool.
