When I lived in central Wis. I built a 20 x32 pole barn, insulated under the floor w/2" foam HAS TO BE POLYURETHANE FOAM 8"fiberglass batts in the walls 12" blowing FIBERGLASS WOOL in the ceiling and 3/4" black plastic pipe imbedded in a 6" concrete floor. Heated the place with a gas water heater 40 gal. WORKED GREAT Could put an icy vehicle inside at night next day it would be thawed and the floor would be dry. My neighbor who had the same type of heat complained of dusty floors tuff. Got my instructions from university of north Dakota .or maybe south D. Also built my own 12 x14' bifold insulated door but thats another story . I WOULDNT USE ANY OTHER KIND OF HEAT, UNLESS THE FLOOR WAS ALREADY POURED. e-mail me if yu want more info.
