Hi Bill, A Oliver S55D weighs 3469lbs dry so what maybe 4000lbs wet plus your loader and hog, I would say closer too 5500lbs to 6000lbs. Gas version weighs 100lbs less. Add about 3000lbs for decent trailer weight, so your at 9000lbs GVWR of the trailer minium. My neighbor just showed up at the community well with a tandum 1-1/2" square axles with a 500gal water tank. He said he had the trailer for about 3mths and while I was there he picked-up a tire/wheel that fell off of the axle when he pulled up empty. Hollowed out the bearing hub and the bearings still had grease. He only pulls this trailer about 6 miles twice a week at 25mph. He put the used 2000lbs axles on the trailer when he got it 3mths earlier. I had to chuckle when I seen the axle size and thought of your past post. T_Bone

Elliott said while this
